A ladder
The former owners of Eden have used the place as a dump. They have thrown away lots and lots of things and worst are all the batteries that I find all over the place. I have also found shoes, lots of broken glas, clothes, china and many many things. I have tried to clean up but loads of it is under ground and comes up when I dig. I fear that someone will get hurt one day and most likely it will be our dog Snoop.
Botanical garden, Dublin
One of many squirrels in the park. A bit difficult to see sometimes due to their colour and they sort of blend in to the ground.
The rockery, or one of them I should say. A nice border and something I would like to do at Eden.
The first time I went to Ireland I spent 11 days there and it was raining for 11 days. I didn´t mind really even though I was wet from head to toes every day.
More stones
When I´m at our townhouse I forget what it looks like at Eden. Well don´t totally forget but details can be totally wrong. Like on this photo for example. This pile of stones are located in the area I call The Forgotten Garden. Í´m going to make a "kick-ass-garden" there and had plans to shift the stones and use them in flower borders. When I went out to Eden last week and saw them I realised that I had to make new plans. There is no way that I can move them and we have to use armforce to move them due to that there is no chance to take any machines there. So the new plans are to fill this place upp with soil and plant roses and clematis in the cracks. The only problem is that there are a lot of wipers in that area so I have to do it in summertime when there are no snakes. I don´t want to kill any of them.We are soon to have time of from school and the family and I will spend a week at Eden and hopefully we can start to take down the trees that we don´t want, take away rubbish thrown away by previous owners etc.

Some more info about Cork

"Cork, Ireland's third largest city, is excellently situated for exploring the Cork coast and river valleys-and indeed the whole of south-west Ireland. Cork is a place of commercial importance, largely due to the excellence of its harbour. It is an export centre for the agricultural produce of the south, and the many industries in the city include brewing, distilling, hosiery, flour milling, bacon curing, chemical and paint works, clothing and footwear factories. "
In 2004 Cork City had 195 400 inhabitants. Now in 2008 Cork City is Ireland´s second largest town. Linkoping where I live in has 140 367. Linkoping is Sweden´s fifth largest town. Guess who
Who is this and what do you know about him?
This is Oscar Wilde, my favourite Irish author, 1854-1900. His real name was Fingal O´Flahertie Wills. He wrote one novel, The Picture of Dorian Grey (1891). He also wrote comedies and the audience loved him. One of his lovers, Lord Alfred Douglas, father saw to that Wilde lost everything in a lawsuit and he was imprisoned.
In 1895 he went to prison and he was sentence for to 2 years of hard labour for homosexual offences and he died alone in a hotel in Paris. He is buried in Pére Lachaise cemetery, Paris. He died of cerebral meningitis due to an infection in one of his ears. He is well known for his wittiness and I love the quotations he wrote.
